Great Horned Owl nest - New Jersey
Adult Great Horned Owl in the nest with two owlets:
Nothing like those big, yellow eyes of an owl looking straight at you :)
Just as a note for those interested, this photograph was taken at 2400mm!
How? I used my Canon 600mm f/4 IS II lens paired with a 2x extender, mounted on my newly acquired Panasonic G9 micro 4/3 camera. Sensor of that camera gives an extra 2x crop resulting in 2400mm. I will be posting more photographs taken with this camera soon. Maybe even review if someone is interested. Let me know…
