Fledgling Peregrine Falcon - NJ

Fledgling Peregrine Falcon staying hidden between the trees:

Juvenile Peregrine Falcon, NJ - Panasonic G9 + 100-400mm lens

I photographed this immature falcon on its first week after fledging this past Summer at the Stateline Lookout, Palisades Interstate Park, in Northern New Jersey. Most the the time, young peregrines spend their day sleeping, preening and being for food :) Flight practices aren’t as frequent as their are still poor “landers” 🙈 😁

Did you spot the shape of the heart that its beak formed? :)
