Peregrine Falcon with beautiful fall colors in the background:

Once again, Palisades Interstate Park doesn’t disappoint during fall months. Colors are spectacular this time of year. I was happy to have this very cooperative falcon perch on this tree for some time, giving me opportunity to shoot it with a bare 600mm lens, 1.4x and 2x extender.

Again, I wasn’t sure which crop to share so I’m sharing both, horizontal and vertical version of the same photograph. Do you have a favorite?

Trees are still mostly full of leaves with colors at their peak. You still have the time to catch the best of the foliage in the park.
