Snowy Owl preening - New Jersey

Snowy Owl preening on a windy day:

If you ever watched Snowy Owls, you know that for the most part of the day, there is nothing exciting happening 🙈 Same was true here 😬 Nevertheless, I thought that the wind blowing through this owl's feathers and the short preening action was worth a share.

As a side note, I always find it fascinating to see how the Snowy Owls look for some object to hide behind. Same was true on this day, when this owl was "hiding" behind this drift wood / root.
