Barred Owl yawning

Not often you can look inside the birds mouth / beak πŸ˜‰ One may think that this owl was vocalizing, it was just giving me this wide yawn right before it went to sleep.

Getting these kind of shots is possible only when you give wildlife respect. Stay quiet, do not talk or move loudly / rapidly. Sometimes it takes only minutes for bird to realize that you are not a threat and will go about its routine without paying attention to your presence.

If you follow me on social media, you probable have noticed that I don’t post much these days. There is a good reason for that. I’m was very busy. Warbler Spring migration has been the main culprit too πŸ™ˆ I also have some project that I’m working on and will be realizing more information soon.

Until the next time!
