Marbled Godwit wading - Southwest Florida

Few winters ago, I was on the quest to find the best location to photograph wintering Marbled Godwits in Southwester Florida. I believe that I found it! This particular location offers great opportunity to photograph not only godwits but also many other shorebirds as well as wading birds. In both, morning and late afternoon light. It happens to be also one of my favorite, and most visited, spots and it is described in great detail in my newest guide: https://www.greggard.com/location-guides/southwest-florida-bird-photography-location-guide-ebook

This particular photograph was taken in the morning and required me to be sitting in the water. In my guide, I also share tips on how to do it comfortably and safely. As you can see, getting into water is worth it :)
