Spotted Sandpiper - Jamaica Bay, NYC

Spotted Sandpiper ( Actitis macularius ) - Jamaica Bay, NYC, USA

This must have been one of my favorite outings, to the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge, Gateway National Recreation Area, Queens, New York City, NY this past summer. It was also my first time either noticing or seeing blooming Salt Spray Rose (link) in the refuge and I was eager to incorporate it in my photographs.

Even now when I’m typing this post, I have a huge grin on my face😁😂

What a day it was!
